Yoga Class Description
The Joyful Healing Arts is a small beautiful neighborhood studio with a yoga wall, wood floors,
mats and yoga props.
All classes are taught by Amanda Lamprecht who is a certified Purna Yoga™ instructor and a Certified Yoga Therapist.
Her yoga classes focus on the beautiful practice of asana, pranayama,
applied yoga philosophy , good nutrition and encourages a healthy and joyful lifestyle
to all of her students.
The Joyful Healing Arts Center offers classes which run in 6 weeks sessions.
Each session builds on the previous session and it ensures a steady progression of
learning the fundamentals of the different yoga poses
while getting precise instruction, individual attention and hands on adjustments
in a save and comfortable environment.
Classes are limited to 5 students in order to provide the best experience possible for each student attending.
Students commit to 6 weeks of yoga at a time and all students are
required to do the Introduction to Yoga Series before moving into a level 1 or Level 2 class series even if
the student have done yoga before.
The studio do provide mats, but students are encouraged to bring their own as
individually owned mats are cleaner and more hygienic than shared mats.
Students should wear comfortable clothing in which you can move easily in.
For your own safety avoid wearing black clothing, it makes it hard for the teacher to
see your body alignment when you wear black.
Make sure to arrive with clean hands and feet as we practice barefoot.
